University First Day #OOTD

White vest - Topshop
Check shirt and bag - H&M
Leather look Jeans and long blazer - River Island
Charcoal Jeans - Hollister
Necklace  - Accessorize

I am extremely happy to realise i have chosen the correct career path in the Fashion Industry! My new course is perfect and i have loved my first week back at University!
The weather here in Winchester has been crazy, with freezing foggy mornings and then sunny middays, therefore I have begun working layers into my outfits, I'm still a big lover of waist ties and I love the smart look of the black blazer in contrast with my slouchy brushed cotton shirt. I love loose beach waves hair so I've left my hair to be pretty natural recently! My entire AW wardrobe seems to be filled with monochrome pieces this season so its so simple to put together stylish and pratical outfits for busy campus life.

Novo London

For those of you who follow my Instagram (@natalie_greenst) you would have seen my excitement at receiving these two stunning dresses from a brand i am very excited about!

Novo London is home to some of the most beautiful crafted dresses i have ever laid my hands on! I was over the moon to be sent a couple of dresses from their SS14 collection. The dresses are made to be catwalk inspired pieces which are accessible for everyone, taking on street style and contemporary design to create one off trend conscious wardrobe essentials! All the dresses have an 'essence of luxury with a sexy edge' playing on how simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication, each piece flatters the female form - read more on Novo London here and you can shop here!

I received this stunning white halter neck asymmetrical backless dress (found here), it completely flatters the female form with tailoring in all the right places and cut to create perfect focal points. Its obviously perfect for occasion events, however I think it also looks amazing dressed down with a duster coat or blazer for winter season.

The green dress is another beautiful piece, with a mesh neckline and an inbuilt lace triangle bralet to create more focal points, i love how this is slightly daring and creates confidence with the female form.

Dresses - Novo London
Gold Earrings, Fur Snood, Gold Necklace - Accessorize.
Long black blazer - River Island

Pinterest inspo AW14

One thing i usually dislike about fall in the UK is that all outfits have to be layered and then covered up with a big coat. Pinterest, however, has given me so much inspiration on amazing minimal street style outfits for this upcoming autumn. Mostly concentrating on textures, monochrome tones, lots of black, denim, and gold details. You can follow me here pinterest.com/nataliebowles1

leather obsession OOTD

Here is a lil post for a lil insight into my simple monochrome wardrobe. I am so obsessed with city styles and seeing faux leather everywhere this season is a beautiful thing, i believe it is the perfect way to improve up a casual outfit. After purchasing my leather look trousers (previously featured on my blog and all over my instagram @natalie_greenst) I realised how great they look paired with almost anything in my wardrobe, even some really basic pieces that i would feel too under-dressed or boring to wear with just classic jeans. Consequently, I decided to add this Missguided Rica Faux Leather mini skirt to my winter wardrobe! Today i casual'ed (yep casual'ed is a word now lol) it down with a black knitted jumper, cut out boots and a simple plain white tee (these oversized v-neck tees are forever falling of my shoulders grrrr proves what a shorty i am).

This skirt will also look great styled up for a night out with some silver jewellery and a black long sleeved crop top! The boots i am holding are from New Look (only £22 fyi ahhhmazing bargain).

frank original coffee scrub

Made naturally in Melbourne, Australia. Frank body coffee scrub is hands down the best whole body exfoliator i have ever used.

Firstly, the smell is incredible, i feel like I'm in showering in a Starbucks coffee shop very morning which completely awakens all my senses. I was abit wary about using a scrub to begin with as i was unsure wether it would make my skin sore, however i can assure you now after using it every other day for a couple of weeks my skin has never been more soft and glowing! Cant beat the affordable price for   a packed 200g of tough lurrrrrve.

The perfect natural mix of roasted ground robusta coffee targets dry skin, the brown sugar and sea salt cleanses and clarifies and the cold-pressed almond oil soothes moisturises and tones. Go have a peek at the Frank website and pick out a scrub that suits your skin best frankbody.com

(I also love the amusing packaging and website 'babe'.)
